Interesting Ways to Make Your Hair Grow Faster

If you’re looking to radiate beauty and confidence one of the first  places to focus on is your hair. If you’re reading this, however, you’re likely faced with one of two challenges – either, you are concerned about thinning hair or you are looking for fuller and longer hair in order to pull of a particular hairstyle.

We often put our hair through a lot, and over time, the strands at the bottom of our hair tends to get thinner.  A decent conditioner, however, will help replace the proteins and lipids within the hair shaft. This is particularly true of natural conditioners, such as those containing jojoba oil or aloe vera – that serve to nourish the hair rather than synthetically fill it out.

 

 

  1.  DON’T WASH YOUR HAIR EVERY DAY

The purpose of washing your hair is to remove dirt, dead skin and the residue of hair products – but shampoo often takes away natural oils that keep your hair healthy, therefore, you don’t want to be washing your hair every day.  Every 2-3 days is a good frequency for most people.

 

  1. USE A HAIR MASK EACH WEEK

Use moisture based masks on a weekly basis to nourish and replenish your hair, particularly if it’s long.  You don’t need to buy anything expensive, in fact, extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil is one of the best options to have as a hair mask.

 

Ideally, you want to put this on warm wet hair, then  cover your hair with a shower cap and keep the oil in it overnight.  This way your hair will soak up the coconut oil meaning it will penetrate to where it needs to go.  In the alternative, you could leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse off (along with shampoo and conditioner).

 

  1.  HAIR SUPPLEMENTS

There are supplements such as biotin and folic acid that have been known to help with hair growth.  Think about what you put in your body, rather than on your hair, as hair grows from the inside out – meaning if you have good nutrition it will show in your hair.  Keep hydrated and consider taking some hair supplements to help keep strong radiant hair.
